The film tells the story of the most successful squadron of the Battle of Britain - the Polish 303 Kosciuszko Squadron - through the eyes of two veteran pilots of the Squadron: Franciszek Kornicki and Stanislaw Socha, as well as through the children of three spectacular aces of 303 Squadron: John Kent, the Canadian Flight commander, Witold Urbanowicz, the legendary Polish commander of 303, Miroslaw Feric, also a chronicler of the squadron. 

It is a story of personal courage against great odds when the fate of WW2 was at stake. It shows heroic men and their perseverance in living up to the Kosciuszko motto of fighting "for our freedom and yours". I believe that this story of men of the greatest generation conveys a universal message which viewers can identify with. The film also explores an American connection, as the Kosciuszko Squadron was established in 1919 in Poland by American volunteer pilots, including Merian Cooper, and it's insignia was designed by another American pilot, Elliott Chess.

Hurrah!  What a treat!  That is one good piece of work, you must be very proud of it.

I have watched this fantastic documentary. It is hard not to feel humbled by the bravery displayed by the Polish pilots in general and those of 303 (Polish) Sqn of the Royal Air Force. I enjoyed not only the many photographs of the time but also the reminiscences of the veterans and of their sons and daughters. I am happy to have contributed to this work which will be another important document to keep the memory of their feats alive, never to be forgotten. We all owe a debt to them. They fought not only for theirs, but for our freedom from Nazi tyranny.

Wonderful movie. I was already familiar with the overall story after reading "A Question of Honor" several years ago, but this film adds a lot of personal dimension. I even got the Kindle version of 303 Squadron and read that on the flight back. (The book and this film make a great package.) Tomasz ... You are to be congratulated and I am very happy to have been one of the supporters.

I managed to watch your film last night. Wonderful. I was moved close to tears by the end the two interviews with Socha and Kornicki. Especially when they talked about Yalta and the exclusion of the Poles from the Victory Parade. How amazing that you managed to capture this from these two heroes so late in their lives and just before they each died. Well done and thank you.
